10 K-Pop Idols Born In 1995 Who Have To Enlist In The Military by 2023

They will be dearly missed!

Military enlistment is a part of every Korean man’s career, apart from a few exceptions, and eligible K-Pop idols also have to take time to complete it. According to South Korea’s law, all able-bodied men have to complete at least 18 months of military service between the ages of 18 and 28, and it’s a time that many K-Pop fans understandably dread. For 2023, male idols that were born in 1995 that haven’t yet completed their military service will have to enlist unless an exception is made. Here are 10 such idols that we’ll probably see start their enlistment next year!

1. Bobby (iKON)

Song was born on February 8, 1995. Since it seems like iKON will be missing two of its members by late next year, it will be interesting to see what the remaining members end up doing in the meantime.

3. Taeyong (NCT)

Taeyong was born on July 1, 1995. As the leader of NCT and part of several sub-units, he’ll definitely be missed, but we have no doubt he’ll be able to jump right back into music once he returns!

4. S.Coups (SEVENTEEN)

S.Coups was born on August 8, 1995. As another leader and potentially the first member of SEVENTEEN that will enlist, it will be a huge adjustment for fans of the group to handle, but at least there will be plenty of other members around during his service!

Jeonghan was born on October 4, 1995. Like S.Coups, he’ll be another member of SEVENTEEN to likely enlist in 2023, and like the group’s leader, it will be a hard time for fans to wait for him to return.

6. Shinwon (PENTAGON)

10. Seungsik (VICTON)

Seungsik was born on April 16, 1995. He has taken on the role of leader while Seungwoo has been away for his enlistment period, though as Seungwoo is set to return in January, it should be an easy transition back before Seungsik has to enlist!
