Genshin Impact Version 3.3 Goes Somewhere Its Never Gone Before

Genshin Impact Version 3.3 brings scores of new content to the table, including characters, events, and a new TCG called Genius Invokation. While many players are focused on the larger content updates, others are happy for the opportunity to finally explore one of Genshin Impact’s most tantalizing buildings, the cat café, the Cat’s Tail. Despite the location being in the game since its initial release, players have never been able to enter the building, leaving many disappointed that they are unable to play with cats.

Since the beginning of the game, the Cat’s Tail has been an important aspect of Mondstadt’s commerce district, and functions as the soul rival to the Angel’s Share bar. Functioning as a sort of cat café, the tavern will now be the player’s hub for Genshin Impact’s Genius Invokation TCG. The Cat’s Tail itself has also been an extremely important element for characters in the game, including Diona, who works there as a bartender and Jean, who frequently dines there.

Genshin Impact Opens The Cat’s Tail For The First Time

Exploring the Cat’s Tail in Genshin Impact has been a dream for many players since the game launched. Sporting many fun pieces of furniture that would make excellent recipes for the Serenitea Pot, and a group of adorable cats scattered around the premises, the tavern perfectly fits the descriptions that characters have given it thus far. Even before its release Genshin Impact leakers, like Genshin Mains, were quick to show off photos of the interior, as well as some of the patrons who can be battled with Genshin Impact’s Genius Invokation cards.

How Does This Change The Future Of Genshin Impact Building Design?

Although this addition to the game may seem small, it shows that Genshin Impact may be more inclined to start adding interiors to every building that has been in the game so far. Seeing the interiors for places like the Grand Goth Hotel or various residential houses would help the world of Teyvat feel even more realistic and grounded. On top of that, extra interiors often lead to new furniture designs, meaning if Genshin Impact continues to add more, players will have higher chances of receiving new furniture models for their Serenitea Pot.

Finally, these building interiors are perfect for exploring characters on a deeper level, showing off how they fit into the world of Teyvat on a daily basis. This could be especially helpful for characterizing new additions to the playable roster, like recently announced Genshin Impact character Alhaitham. Adding Alhaitham and Kaveh’s residence, for example, could be a perfect opportunity to explore both characters on a deeper level. However, even if seeing the interior of the Cat’s Tail doesn’t bring huge revelations for certain characters, the inside of the tavern is a great addition to Genshin Impact 3.3.
