Free Nnamdi Kanu – Rapper, Zoro drums support for IPOB leader
Indigenous Nigerian rapper, Owoh Chimaobi Chrismanther, popularly known as Zoro, has called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) on Tuesday, June 29, confirmed that Kanu was arrested and brought back to Nigeria as a result of a collaborative effort between Nigeria security agencies and Interpol.
Kanu has been in DSS custody since his repatriation back to the country.
Reacting to the development, Zoro took to his Instagram page to call for the IPOB leader’s release and stated that he has a lot of things to say but he would want people to listen to their conscience first.
He wrote; “Free Nnamdi Kanu’. There’s a lot I’d love to say, first is. I’d love if you listen to your conscience only if its well-fed shaa.. #freemazinnamdikan”
The IPOB leader would continue his trial for charges bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony, unlawful possession of firearms, and management of an unlawful society.
